Species at Risk Ranges in the NWT, excluding migratory birds
Range distributions for NWT species at risk that are listed or assessed under federal and territorial species at risk legislation. Migratory bird species are not included and should be requested from Environment Canada (EC.SAR-NT-LEP-NT.EC@canada.ca). The supplementary table BIO_ENR_WFE_SARA_AttributeTable contains additional information for each species and can be joined to each feature class using the field ‘FeatureName’. Contact SARA@gov.nt.ca.

The Boreal Caribou data Package includes layers that are used for Boreal Caribou Range Planning in the NWT. This includes fire history, human disturbance, range planning regions as well as the 2020 Resource Selection Function layers for all seasons. Data sources and contact information can be found within each layer's metadata.
