2020 Pan-Canadian SDI Summit

In December 2020, the Canadian Council on Geomatics, the Open Geospatial Consortium and the Government of the Northwest Territories are organizing the 5th Pan-Canadian Spatial Data Infrastructure Summit (SDI Summit).

The Northwest Territories will be hosting this year’s summit with the theme Responding to needs of Northern and remote communities.  Due to COVID-19, this year’s summit will be held virtually as a webinar on December 2 & 3, 2020.  Given the virtual nature of this year’s summit, participants are expected from across Canada and sectors.

The SDI summit is an opportunity to learn for other experts in the field and share best practices on all aspects related to data discovery, access, availability and interoperability and use.
